Two exhibitors at this year’s British Equine Veterinary Association Congress (11 -14 September 2024) have won awards for their inspired use of stand space. Delegates voted via the BEVA congress App, identifying exhibitors who showcased their brand with panache and a welcoming ambiance.

Bova UK won the Best Free Design Stand Award for their distinguished ‘bar’ providing their ever-popular slushies and a range of giveaways including torch pens, snoods and bags.

Bova UK is a London based Specials Manufacturer dedicated to broadening the treatment options for vets. The company is the first in the UK to have authorisation to manufacture sterile and non sterile products used in compliance with the cascade.

Stallion AI Services won the Best Shell Scheme Stand Award for the third year in a row. Their lively and colourful stand is a favourite with delegates especially because of their coveted free sperm-themed novelty gifts! This year Stallion AI are showcasing their new gin and sampling is proving popular, with delegates being given the chance to win a bottle if they visit the stand.

Stallion AI Services, based in Shropshire, is a world class stallion facility specialising in AI services and products. Using the latest laboratory technology, they provide a wide range of services including semen freezing and storage, fertility testing and fresh, chilled and frozen semen distribution. Stallion AI also works very closely with the Rare Breed Survival Trust to help preserve the genes of rare equines.

Jocelyn Thompson, BEVA Events Manager said: “The exhibition hall is filled with stylish and compelling stands again this year and the atmosphere is so friendly and fun. We love running the stand awards to show our appreciation to all the exhibitors who make the exhibition hall such a popular hangout for delegates.”

BEVA is a world leading equine veterinary association and a highly regarded authority representing the industry at the highest level, running outstanding CPD and producing universally respected journals. The annual Congress is the largest equine veterinary conference in Europe.

The Awards were presented by BEVA President (outgoing) Roger Smith.
