The Society of Practising Veterinary Surgeons (SPVS) is pleased to announce the launch of the SPVS Salary Survey 2025 Questionnaire.

This annual survey is an invaluable tool designed to provide a comprehensive overview of remuneration levels within the veterinary sector. It covers everything from basic earnings, bonuses, dividends and overtime, to benefits such as accommodation, car allowances and pensions making it an essential benchmark for all professionals working in both clinical and non-clinical roles within the veterinary profession.

SPVS is gathering information from anyone working in the veterinary profession in clinical or non-clinical roles, from vets to nurses, practice managers to support staff and those in industry.  In the current economic climate, and with veterinary recruitment and retention still high on the agenda, it is important for practices to ensure their staff remuneration packages are appealing and competitive.

The more responses received, the more significant and representative the data becomes, giving valuable insights into veterinary remuneration trends. So, please take part and encourage your colleagues to complete the survey!

The key findings of the survey will be published in a report and freely available to all participant who gives their email address at the end of the survey. SPVS members will be able to access the full results with additional commentary and analysis.

As always, the survey data is treated as strictly anonymous and totally confidential. If you have any questions about this survey please email office@spvs.org.uk.

Thank you to all participants in advance for their responses which help to make this survey such a valuable resource!
