We're delighted to announce the results of our 2022 BEVA Council Election.
We'd like to congratulate Bruce Bladon on his election to the position of Junior Vice President, taking on the Presidency for 2024-2025. Former Council members James Crabtree and Alison Talbot have successfully been re-elected to serve a second term. Last, but by no means least, we are excited to welcome new Council member Sophie Eaden.

Bruce Bladon
Bruce graduated from Edinburgh University in 1988 and currently works as hospital director at Donnington Grove Veterinary Group in Newbury. His interests include colic, arthroscopy and fracture repair.
James Crabtree
James studied at Edinburgh University and now works at Equine Reproductive Services UK in Yorkshire. His passion lies in equine reproduction and he continues to perform practice-based research utilising the most recent techniques.
Alison Talbot
Another Edinburgh University graduate, Alison is now a senior lecturer in Equine Orthopaedics at the University of Liverpool. She also holds a diploma in Veterinary Sports Medicine & Rehabilitation.
Sophie Eaden
Sophie graduated from Bristol in 2013 and after a short stint in mixed practice moved to equine. She currently works at Tor Equine Vets in Devon where she particularly enjoys reproduction, medicine, lameness and donkey care.
