Roger Smith, Chair of our Education Committee, provides an update following their recent meeting.
The primary purpose of the meeting was to plan the 2025 CPD programme. We will continue to run our regular courses but we are also planning some exciting, new courses for 2025. Further details on the 2025 programme will be available in the summer.
2024 CPD courses have proved popular with many of the places on these courses already booked. We look forward to welcoming you to a BEVA CPD course but would encourage you to book as early as possible to ensure you secure your place. You can view the full CPD programme here.
We are also delighted to share that, following the success of 2023, we will continue to run CPD at London International Horse Show in 2024. Details of the course will be available shortly, please register your interest to be the first to know.
Over the last few months, we have also been reviewing our Regional Meetings. Based on the feedback we have had we plan to continue to run these courses and we are currently organising events in Scotland and Northern Ireland for later this year.
Our Nurse Committee have been very active this year and has developed an exciting new series of CPD for nurses. These courses have proved to be popular and we look forward to developing the series into 2025.
