Following a recent meeting Roger Smith, Committee Chair, provides an update on what they have been up to.
Roger celebrates that the BEVA CPD programme is back in full swing after COVID meant that many in-person courses had to be put on hold. He also shares that the BEVA programme offers a mix of course formats including in-person events, online events and blended events where we provide lectures online followed by a practical day.
Roger shares how our equine nurse programme is expanding under the direction of the BEVA Nurse Committee.
The free to member CPD, including the clinical catch-ups and transatlantic equine clinics, continue to be popular with members both attending live and watching the recordings.
We also have a number of plans for the future, we are looking to develop our offerings for the advanced level which includes our upcoming orthopaedic discussion. We are also considering revamping the regional meetings.
