The BEVA Nurse Committee attended BVNA Congress on 7 and 8 October.
Mary, Cassie, Rosina and Marie ran a Hub session on the Friday morning. This was an informal session where delegates were invited to meet the committee and discuss the content of the workshop that was coming up in the afternoon. The workshop in the afternoon included a number of unicorn themed tasks that delegates had to complete and with every task, there was a question to answer. The questions all related back to the survey the committee ran at BEVA Congress back in September. A discussion session was held at the end of the workshop so that delegates could explain their answers and put forward any concerns or ideas. The session was well attended and some important data was collected.
On the Saturday Louise, Rebecca and Marie were present in the exhibition hall to chat to delegates and direct them to the survey which was live on the BVNA app. The committee are planning to meet up in the near future to discuss the results of the survey and information gained from the workshop. The committee would like to thank BVNA for having them at BVNA Congress, the support is very much appreciated.
