ViVet to host student innovation competition

The RCVS’ innovation initiative, ViVet, as part of the Vet Futures project, is to host its first student innovation competition this year titled, ‘What’s your big idea?’, ahead of the initiative’s second Innovation Symposium in October.

Facts on horse and rider fitness fascinate at National Equine Forum

The latest knowledge and know how on horse and rider fitness and equine stereotypical behaviours was enthusiastically received by a packed audience at the National Equine Forum afternoon session on 7th March 2019. More than 1200 people around the world also watched the event via live stream. The highly educational content attracted 14 students and lecturers from four UK equestrian colleges.

Management of hormone related poor performance in competition horses

Susan Salter is an equine veterinarian with experience in the fields of Thoroughbred and sports horse stud medicine. She works with Donnington Grove Veterinary Group in Newbury, who have a specialised stud medicine team, as well as a large race horse client base.
