About the webinar

The risk of anthelmintic resistance leads us to question treatments for particular conditions to ensure that we are playing our part to reduce their usage. This month we look at treating insect induced pruritis - are avermectins the best option or should we consider more sustainable products? Julia Shrubb and Victoria South will examine the impact of other topical treatments on the environment and dung beetles and ultimately assess whether we are inadvertently worsening our ability to treat helminths and ectoparasites by using topical insect treatments.

BEVA Clinical Catch-Ups are an informal, friendly place for equine vet professionals to learn and share knowledge with one another.

This event is available exclusively for BEVA members, free of charge.

We hope to see you online soon.

You can watch back previous Clinical Catch-Ups on the BEVA Online Learning Platform.
