About this course
Hosted by Rossdales, this three day course will provide you with a thorough overview of musculoskeletal ultrasonography. It covers the ultrasonographic principles, the normal ultrasonographical appearance of the musculoskeletal structures and the ultrasonographical findings following intrinsic and traumatic injury.
The information is detailed and comprehensive and is provided in both lectures and small group practical sessions. Areas covered include the neck, back, pelvis, fore and hind limbs (including the flexor tendons, suspensory apparatus, check ligaments, pastern, digital flexor tendon sheath, fetlock, carpus, elbow, shoulder, hock, stifle and hip).
Learning outcomes
By the end of the course you will...
- Have developed your skills in musculoskeletal ultrasonography, understanding principles, and improving image quality to maximize diagnostic ability
- Have enhanced knowledge and confidence in scanning the normal anatomy as well as the abnormal, and in how to interpret what you see.
- Have built confidence in your ability to interpret your ultrasonographical images. What is normal and what is abnormal.
