This new course is designed for nurses who are involved in setting up circuits for anaesthesia in hospital and clinics and are responsible for their maintenance. This course is formed of three parts: online learning resources will cover the basics of drugs used and how to complete an anaesthetic record, you will then join a live online meeting to discuss Schedule Three and offering a recap on general anaesthesia circuits, ventilation and monitoring, finally you will join us in person for both theory and practical sessions.
Two weeks prior to the online session you will be given access to pre-learning resources which will lay the foundation for the online session and live day. The online session will take place on Thursday 8 May, and will need to be completed before attending the in-person session on Thursday 22 May.
You will complete the course brimming with knowledge and skills in anaesthesia and with the confidence to get more involved in the anaesthetic process in a hospital setting.
