About the webinar

Distal sesamoidean desmitis is considered rare as a diagnosis. But it has also been hard to diagnose, with ultrasound of the ligaments being challenging and artefacts being a complication of MRI.

Earlier diagnosis is associated with a better prognosis for return to soundness and allows for more targeted treatment.

In this discussion we join Alex Hawkins and Sarah Sampson who have led research and have significant experience in diagnosing, treating and managing this condition.

This event is available exclusively for AAEP and BEVA members, free of charge. AAEP members should contact the AAEP for registration details.

We hope to see you online soon.

BEVA members can watch back previous Transatlantic Equine Clinics on the BEVA Online Learning Platform.
