About this course

Hosted by Rossdales Equine Hospital, this AVA accredited one day course is suitable for veterinary surgeons with different levels of experience and interest in equine anaesthesia in a hospital setting. Various topics ranging from preoperative preparations to intraoperative management and post-anaesthetic considerations will be presented by various experienced speakers. The talks will include lectures and discussions to allow interactive case management.

Learning outcomes

By the end of the course you will...

• be able to identify patient- and procedure-specific considerations for equine anesthesia in a hospital setting
• be able to interpret perianaesthetic parameters and select appropriate treatment
• recognise of perianaesthetic complications
