VetPD Equine Pre-Purchase Examination - An International Perspective

Across Europe, the pre-purchase examination of horses is handled very differently but the fundamental principles are the same - thorough examination, experienced interpretation and excellent communication. However the pre-purchase examination is a common cause of significant problems for veterinary surgeons and there are many challenging and contentious issues. This course is aimed at equine practitioners and mixed animal veterinarians who are interested in learning more about the equine pre-purchase examination and the different ways that it can be handled. Much of the course will be case-based and delegates will have the opportunity to contribute their opinion via an anonymous voting system. Furthermore, there will be plenty of time to discuss all kinds of different questions and viewpoints with the two speakers and the other delegates.
