Back to all CPD
24 Nov 2022 20:00 - 24 Nov 2022 21:00
Online Course, BEVA , CB7 5LQ
Join us on Thursday 24th November, the culmination of World Antimicrobial Awareness Week, for a webinar discussing the use of antimicrobials in equine practice. How can we measure this, and how can we reduce it. Bruce Bladon will describe current antibiotic use in equine practice, Victoria South will consider the use of Highest Priority Critically Important Antimicrobials, and Bettina Dunkel will describe strategies to reduce antimicrobial use.
Come and join us and make the world a better place for us all.
Antimicrobial stewardship is the most important issue facing our profession in the next decade. If we show no concern, our ability to treat horses will be greatly restricted, and our personal chances of suffering health complications will be compromised by exposure to antimicrobial resistant bacteria.
-Bruce Bladon, BEVA Junior Vice President
