Reproductive Vet for Maternity Cover
We are seeking a dedicated Equine Vet for a full-time maternity cover position in beautiful Cheshire. We envisage this tenure will be for 6 months, but may be negotiable. This role will be primarily a position for stud work, but will also involve ambulatory components and a share of the OOH rota. The position is based at our RCVS Hospital, which handles both first opinion and referral cases, including routine and emergency surgery.
Join our enthusiastic team of 9 vets and 6 nurses (4 of whom are fully qualified), backed by excellent and supportive office staff to manage your diary.
You’ll also benefit from the experience of multiple Certificate holders within the team to ensure ongoing professional development and support.
Key Details:
• Equine reproductive vet or with a stud bias
• 6 month contract
• Ambulatory and weekend working required, with flexibility for the right candidate!
• Fully supported by our RCVS Hospital for surgery and emergencies
