SEASONAL POSITION, 4.5 DAY WEEK, FLEXIBLE OOH’S, €55k-80k
SES EQUINE VETERINARY SERVICES (KILDARE/WICKLOW) is seeking an enthusiastic equine veterinarian with stud experience to fulfil a fixed-term breeding season position, preferably commencing in January 2025.
The practice works with a large number of thoroughbred stud farms as well as doing a substantial amount of artificial breeding work including chilled and frozen AI, embryo transfer, and OPU and referral problem mare work-ups. Alongside stud work, we provide all aspects of routine ambulatory equine care and an emergency out-of-hours service to our clients.

We will offer an excellent package to include a generous salary €55,000 - €80,000 pro rata (commensurate to experience) and the option of a 4.5 day week. OOH’s responsibilities will be flexible and shared. VCI registration will be covered pro rata and a CPD allowance will be provided. Participation in small research projects will be encouraged.
The practice is uniquely located at the edge of the wicklow mountains and the Curragh while being in easy reach of Dublin. Help can be given to find accommodation.
