Additional Equine Vet – Iain McKenzie Equine Practice
An exciting opportunity has arisen in a rapidly growing independent ambulatory equine practice based in Ascot Berkshire for ideally an additional full-time colleague but part-time will be considered
We are a three-vet equine practice with the unusual situation of all vets being certificate holders and therefore able to provide a wealth of knowledge and support to each other and to a new colleague. We have great support staff in the office behind the scenes to make the practice run as smooth as possible.
The practice has a good working relationship with referral centres for the provision of advanced imaging, surgery, medical management of cases and even just to chat about cases.
The successful candidate will have the passion to provide excellent clinical care and communication with clients of all equine disciplines. You should ideally be confident in all aspects of first opinion work but other vets in the team will be happy to assist or mentor in areas which you may require help.
Support will be provided to allow you to pursue your own area of interest in equine practice such as a post graduate certificate.
We have all the usual gadgets in this small friendly practice such as DR radiography, portable ultrasound, gastroscope, airway scope, shockwave and Class 4 laser

Competitive salary but will be dependent on experience and out of hours rota negotiable
